Outreach Church
I served as Outreach Church's main graphic designer from 2019 to 2021, and maintained its website up until the beginning of 2023. I did all sorts of things in this role, similarly to my role at Holden Village. My main duties included designing graphics for weekly announcements, creating graphics for social media, and creating posters and signage for the various ministries- especially the Kids Ministry.
Early on in my job, I inherited the website from someone else, and was asked to update the look and feel of it using Squarespace. The site (as of now) looks the way it does because of me. Once I renovated the look, I mostly maintained by being the Content Manager, uploading weekly graphics to the home page, changing small details when needed, and adding events to the church calendar.
Lastly, since ours was- and still is- a growing church, I also filled in at other roles, outside of Graphic Design. For example, I helped create forms (ex: if we needed people to sign up for an event) by using Planning Center, and created the graphics for those events. I even helped streamline the process on Planning Center for people to sign up as volunteers in all avenues, from working in the Kids Ministry to signing up as small group leaders.
